Configurable food-ordering platform

A food-ordering platform serving around 200 businesses, processing approximately 100,000 orders per month, and supporting around 50 integrations.

The platform handles complex, dynamic menus with guided ordering wizards, deals, and visual product builders for pizzas, plates, and other configurable meals.

Each business has its own website and design, powered by a shared codebase. Customer-specific behavior is managed through settings in the administration interface, including custom JavaScript and CSS for more specific functionality and styling.

Integrations connect the platform with point-of-sale systems, payment providers, delivery services, and customer clubs.

My contribution

I developed this platform as a subcontractor for the company that markets and sells it.

The project started in March 2020. I developed it independently for several years before another developer joined, and I continue working on its development and ongoing evolution.

The work spans product configuration, customer-facing ordering flows, administration tools, and integrations with external business systems.
