Laboratory Management ERP — Legacy System Rewrite

A laboratory-management ERP supporting the operations of a company of approximately 100 people, from price quotes and projects through testing, reports, and payments.

The project brings three legacy Windows applications into one web application, built with Angular, .NET, and SQL Server.

The rewrite and migration

The system has been developed over approximately five years by a team of three to five developers. Migration from the legacy applications has taken several years and is almost complete.

My contribution

I work primarily on the frontend, with some backend development, as part of the development team alongside a dedicated project manager.

My contributions include:

• Design and frontend development.

• Project-management functionality and scheduling.

• Test-report generation and Word editor integration.

• Controlled documents, including versioning, approval workflows, and ensuring employees use the current version.

• AI integration for extracting EUT information from manuals and checking test results for completeness.
